Gery Groslimond, Executive Director

Gery has taught more nationally ranked players than any other coach in the South, which include 12 NCAA All-Americans, 5 NCAA national champions, and 2 junior national champions. As a player Gery was ranked #6 in the United States Boys 18 & under, played #4 singles and #2 doubles on an NCAA championship team at Stanford University, and was ranked #45 in the men's national rankings. Gery also served as the men's tennis coach at Georgia Tech 1983-1988 and was ACC coach of the year in 1985. Gery is a certified/member of the United States Tennis Professional Association (USPTA).

 

Jeff Groslimond, Director of Tennis

Jeff is a former nationally ranked junior, a full scholarship athlete at the University of Arizona, a top 60 ranked singles and top 10 ranked doubles player in NCAA tennis. Jeff travels extensively with the higher nationally ranked boys in the Academy. Jeff's competitive playing background at the higher NCAA level and his ability to relate on a personal level with juniors, makes him an invaluable source for Academy juniors to gain competitive toughness and enjoy the game. Jeff is a certified/member of the United States Tennis Professional Association (USPTA).

 

Hagen Endler, Director of TAS Select Program

Hagen is a former nationally ranked junior in Florida, scholarship athlete at Florida State, and worked for the Academy during the summer month of 2003. Hagen's character and work ethic will make a strong impact on the juniors in the Academy. Hagen's work with juniors during tournament competition was excellent. Hagen is a certified/member of the United States Tennis Professional Association (USPTA).

 

Braunn Endler, Assistant Director of TAS Select Program

Braunn is a former sectionally ranked junior in the Florida section. Upon graduation from the University of Florida's Business School, Braunn taught in junior development programs in Orlando, Florida before joining TAS. Braunn brings a wealth of tennis knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to every level of TAS. Hagen is a certified/member of the United States Tennis Professional Association (USPTA).

 

Kurt Clemmons

Kurt is a former full scholarship athlete at Jacksonville University and Georgia Tech. Kurt has one of the strongest coaching backgrounds in the Academy. He served as the assistant women's coach at Georgia Tech, is a graduate of the USTA High Performance Coaching Program, directed the Junior Tennis Program at the Racquet Club of the South, and has coached some of the world's top women WTA tour players. Kurt is a USTA High Performance Training Coach. USPTA Certified.

 

Angie Haynes

Angie Haynes, a California native, reached a career high ranking of 79 on the WTA tour. A leftie who began playing tennis at the age of 3, Angie has a tremendous passion for tennis. Angie’s knowledge of tennis and her competitive experience help players reach their maximum potential or just enjoy the game. Angie enjoys working with all ages and levels.

 

Bryan Bailey

Bryan Bailey is a former college player at Oglethorpe University. He leads the university in all time wins. Selected as the Most Valuable Player, he was also named to the SCAC All Tournament Team. He finished 4th in his Kentucky junior class. He brings passion, knowledge and strategical court play to every level of competition.

 

Daniel Fitzsimons

Daniel Fitzsimons worked in a junior development program in Orlando, Florida before working for TAS. He has worked and trained with former tour player Robert Kendrick. Upon graduation from the University of Central Florida, Daniel moved up to Atlanta and joined the TAS team. He brings great enthusiasm and knowledge to his coaching with both the juniors and adult programs.

 

Kawanish Ross

Kawanish Ross is formally the Executive Director of Kross Tennis Academy. A Georgia top junior player, Kawanish was ranked in the top 20 in the nation14,16, and 18. Recruited by top U.S. Colleges, Kawanish attended Drake University and Georgia Southern University on a full scholarship, where he studied Psychology of Sport and Kinesiology. Kawanish played #1 at GSU and achieved All Conference. Coaching credentials includes training women and men from Nigeria, Brazil, and Argentina National Teams. Kawanish has coached top 100 WTA and ATP tour professionals.

 

Anastasiia Vasileva

Anastasiia Vasileva was born and raised in Perm, Russia and started playing tennis at the age of 7. She trained in different tennis academies in Europe and won multiple national (Russia) and international championships in different age categories. She was top 20 in the country at the age of 16 and was a part of a national team.

Before coming to the US, Anastasiia also played the ITF tournaments and European league tournaments. Her freshman and sophomore years Anastasiia played for the D1 School, Southern Utah University at #4-5 in singles and #1-2 in doubles, and then she transferred to the NAIA School, Middle Georgia State University, where she became a captain of the team and played #1 position in singles and doubles for 2 years. Anastasiia is the All-Athletic, All-Conference, Scholar Athlete, the Champions of the Character and All-American awards winner for 2 years. Her senior year after the Nationals in Mobile, Al, in May, 2016 Anastasiia was ranked as high as #5 nationally. Anastasiia graduated with a degree of New Media and Communications with a 4.0 GPA.

As far as the coaching experience, Anastasiia has been coaching since she was 15, while she was still a player. She coached kids and adults of all ages, and a lot of her students are ranked highly nationally. She also was a hitting partner of some of the college players who achieved an outstanding results on the tennis court.

 

John Brvenik

John Brvenik is a former collegiate tennis player at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. He played mostly the five and six singles position during his career. John was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Scholar-Athlete in 2015, earned two All-Academic Conference awards, and was named First Team All-ODAC his senior year. Upon graduating college in May of 2016, John joined the TAS team in January, 2017. John has over 17 years of playing experience and has been coaching since he was 17 years old. He has held coaching positions at both the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX as well as Saddlebrook Tennis Resort in Wesley Chapel, FL. John has coached juniors and adults of all levels, both technically and strategically. He brings both great passion and a strong work ethic to the TAS team. John is certified by the United States Professional Association (USPTA).
